Theatre Exchange Play Selection Announced – Capital Theatre festival

Earlier in the year we teamed up with Capital Theatre Festival to look for an exciting piece of new writing to be transferred from our scratch nights to the festival. We had dozens of fantastic submissions and have chosen Joy Child by Christopher Adams, it will be presented as a full rehearsed reading at MAC on Saturday 23rd November at 4pm. If you would like to take part on Monday 18th November for the event at The Old Joint Stock please send us an email with your Spotlight link (actors) or CV/online profile (Directors) to theatreexchange@hotmail.co.uk

We will be in touch with everyone after the submission deadline on Sunday 10th November.

We will rehearse from 5.30pm and present rehearsed readings at 8pm, there will be a guest speaker and the opportunity to plug any upcoming shows/events after the readings. We finish off with a bit of networking in the bar and you are welcome to invite as many people as you like.

This is a voluntary position and for taking part you will receive a free ticket for a show of your choice at The Old Joint Stock, a discount card for the Old Joint Stock Theatre and 1/2 a days free rehearsal space (subject to availability) after the event.
